Haray Sports offers individual coaching and mentoring to middle school, high school, and college athletes. We’ll be offering this to adult athletes in the very near future as well.
The goal of this service is to help athletes improve their performance and live a more healthy and balanced life. We also coach and mentor athletes who are rehabilitating following an injury or illness. We consider the whole person and encourage personal growth.
How do we do this?
We begin with an initial session where we assess where the athlete is currently at- what are their strengths and where are the opportunities to learn and grow? We use
this information to determine how we can best help them.
We use evidence-based best practices in the field of educational sport psychology, some of which include goal setting, visualization, and breath work. We teach skills to help athletes improve their focus, manage their energy, and get to the right level of excitement for competition. We also work to help alleviate some of the pressure they feel- especially in this digital age when so much is documented and shared on social media.
Sessions can be held virtually or in-person, and we encourage a minimum of four to get started. It is also ideal to begin this work during the off season.

Please note:
Erica Haray is an athletic coach and health educator, she is not a clinical sport psychologist or licensed mental health professional. Haray Sports offers coaching and mentoring, not clinical therapeutic work. If at any point we feel an athlete may benefit from speaking with a mental health professional, we will share that with the athlete and parents/guardians. Our services are not a replacement for therapeutic work.
